PATTERN MAKER (2 POSITIONS)

EQWPE is a growing garment manufacturing company focused on building strong internal systems, consistent sizing, and efficient production processes.
Job Summary
We are looking for two Pattern Makers to join our Product Development team. The role involves developing garment patterns, supporting sample development, and preparing work for production.
Successful candidates will also be expected to work with CAD, digitizing, marker and nesting software. Knowledge of these systems is a big advantage. Should you not have this experience, training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop garment patterns for a range of products
- Support prototype and pre-production sample development
- Apply grading rules across different sizes
- Prepare patterns for cutting and production
- Work closely with the sample room and cutting team
- Maintain organized pattern records
- Support marker preparation and nesting processes
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in:
- Fashion Design
- Tailoring
- or a related field
- Must be computer literate (this is a must)
- Must have knowledge and experience in pattern drafting
- Must have basic knowledge of garment construction
- Ability to read and follow measurements and instructions
Added Advantage
Knowledge or experience in any of the following will be an added advantage:
- CAD
- Digitizing
- Marker making
- Nesting software
Should you not have this experience, training will be provided.

Work Structure
- Two Pattern Makers will work at the same level
- Tasks will be assigned daily based on production needs
- Both individuals will be trained to handle:
- pattern development
- grading
- marker preparation
