JOB BRIEF
Valtex Insurance Brokers is seeking a skilled Underwriter to support risk assessment, product structuring and placement of insurance solutions with partner insurers.
Key Responsibilities
Assess client risk profiles and insurance needs
Structure tailored insurance solutions for clients
Negotiate pricing and policy terms with insurers
Prepare quotations, proposals, and policy documentation
Manage renewals and portfolio performance
Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners
Ensure compliance with underwriting and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
3–5 years’ experience in underwriting or brokerage
Strong knowledge of general and/or life insurance products
Membership with the Insurance Institute of Zambia is an advantage
