Makani Studio is a growing creative design studio focused on delivering high-quality branding, visual design, and video production solutions for businesses across Zambia and the Southern African region. We specialise in logo design, brand identity development, digital content, and motion graphics that help brands communicate clearly and stand out.
We are looking for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our creative team and contribute to exciting branding and multimedia projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design marketing and promotional materials including flyers, posters, brochures, and social media content
- Develop brand identity assets such as logos, brand guidelines, and visual systems
- Create engaging digital content for clients across various industries
- Assist in video production and motion graphics projects
- Design UI/UX layouts for websites and digital platforms
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop campaign concepts and visual strategies
- Prepare print-ready artwork and digital exports to professional standards
- Maintain organised project files and meet project deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro is an advantage
- Strong typography, layout, and branding skills
- Understanding of social media design trends and digital marketing visuals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
