Job Title: Festival Sales Representative
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Renewable/Project-Based)
Location: All provinces Zambia
A. Ordinary, Premium & VIP Ticket Sales Representatives
Candidates Base Monthly Salary: K2,500 (prorated and performance-based)
Minimum Performance (Monthly Target): 20 tickets
Salary entitlement shall be prorated if the monthly performance falls below the set target.
Commission: 5% of ticket value for every ticket sold above the monthly target of 20 tickets.
B. VVIP & Corporate Ticket Sales Representatives
Candidates Base Monthly Salary: K8,000 (prorated and performance-based)
Minimum Performance (Monthly Target): 12 tickets
Salary entitlement shall be prorated if the monthly performance falls below the set target.
Commission: 5% of ticket value for every ticket sold above the monthly target of 12 tickets
1. Job Purpose
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving ticket sales and promoting the Festival of Stars and related. The role requires direct engagement with customers, effective communication of festival packages, and achieving weekly and monthly sales targets.
2. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
Promote and sell Festival of Stars tickets to individuals, groups, and organizations.
Achieve a minimum weekly sales target of 5 tickets.
Actively engage in field sales, telemarketing, and digital promotion.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
Customer Engagement
Provide detailed information about festival ticket packages, benefits, and promotions.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
Reporting & Accountability
Maintain accurate daily sales records and submit weekly reports.
Provide feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
Attend weekly appraisals and performance review sessions.
Teamwork & Representation
Collaborate with other representatives to maximize group sales.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Minimum of 5 tickets sold per week (20 per month).
Consistent submission of sales and performance reports.
Positive customer feedback and low complaint rates.
Active participation in promotions, roadshows, and festival awareness campaigns.
Contribution to achieving overall festival sales targets.
4. Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate
Previous sales or marketing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required for festival promotions.
Ability to use digital tools (WhatsApp, email, social media) for marketing is an advantage.
Performance Clause: Failure to meet minimum weekly sales targets may result in replacement or termination.
Renewal: Contracts may be extended based on project needs and individual performance.
