STORES CLERK – MASTER PORK (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Receiving all goods by physical identification, inspection, and confirmation in agreement with supporting documents
- Entering Goods Received into the Inventory Management System
- Involving the end user to confirm goods received are correct and in accordance with the specification, if not familiar with the items.
- Raising GRN for all items received and ensuring it is duly signed off, and updating records.
- Issuing any store items with the correct requisition forms and duly authorized.
- Raising goods issue notes and updating records.
- Keeping all records on stores items up to date and reporting any variances to the manager immediately.
- Carrying out regular physical stock checks on quality and quantity and comparing with records.
- Ensuring all records are neatly file/stored away.
- Checking on minimum/maximum stock levels every day and reporting any variance to the manager.
- Raising purchase requisitions, ensure it is duly approved, and submitting them to the procurement department.
- Following up on purchase requisitions with procurement to ensure the continued availability of items.
- Carrying out physical stock takes twice a month and following up on any variance with the records.
- Submitting all supporting documents for goods received to the accounts department to facilitate payment in good time
- Ensuring store areas are kept clean at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining the hygiene environment in stores
- Performing any other task assigned to him/her by the Stores Manager.
- Controlling physical access to store areas.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
- 1-year relevant work experience
- Must be a Member or an Affiliate of ZIPS
