Position Overview
Angel Oak Technologies invites applications from experienced, agile, and technically competent professionals for the position of Experienced Technical Officer.
The role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, support senior technical leadership, and actively participate in planning, execution, and supervision of technical projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in both office and field environments and handling multiple technical tasks concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support technical installations, site surveys, and commissioning activities
- Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring
- Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, BOQs, and cost estimates
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field teams where required
- Provide technical input for quotations and solution design
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Travel to project sites nationwide as required
- Report progress and technical findings to senior management
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, ICT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant technical experience
- Strong practical knowledge of ICT / telecoms infrastructure
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel and work in the field
- Valid driver’s licence (added advantage)
