National Milling Corporation Limited (NMC), a reputable multinational milling company specialising in the manufacturing of flour, mealie meal and stock feed products and other commodities invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following vacancy:
ACCOUNTANT
Job Responsibilities:
- Record accounting transactions and ensure effective document verification and matching
- Perform weekly, month and mid-month accounting activities such as back and inventory reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records by processing transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare reconciliations of sub ledger and general ledger accounts timely and accurately.
- Constructively participate in monthly and ad-hoc stock counts and in the external audit process.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Full grade twelve (12) Certificate, and an accountancy degree.
- Full ZICA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or other comparable professional accounting qualifications.
- 1 year of relevant accounting experience and satisfactory work performance.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Member of ZICA.
