Job Summary
Reporting to the Applications Administrator, the job holder will be responsible for applying computing principals to create internal programs/scripts, and integration software services. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for designing desired specifications, coding, testing, debugging, and enhancing programs.
Key Attributes & Skills
- Must have in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in coding in languages including, but not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, or Python
- Solid understanding of container technology and fluency in Kubernetes.
- Must be sufficiently experienced in OOP, SQL and Unix/Linux commands and structure.
- Innovative solution provider, capable of articulating new ideas and changes.
- Must be a multi-tasker, able to work in a fast-paced & changing environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least a credit in five subjects that must include English & Mathematics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Must be a member of the Information & Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
- At least Two (02) Years’ relevant professional experience.
