Position Overview
The Front-End Loader Operator is responsible for the Safe and Efficient Operation of Heavy Equipment used to load, transport, and distribute bulk materials across the worksite. This role supports production by feeding key machinery and handling various material movement tasks, requiring technical proficiency, attention to safety, and coordination with site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Front-End Loader to move, load and distribute materials including Biomass, Sawdust, Wood Chippings, and other bulk materials.
- Feed materials into processing Equipment such as the Hammer Mill, Chipper, Pelletizer and other designated Machinery.
- Perform miscellaneous material handling tasks to support site operations and maintain workflow continuity.
- Conduct daily Equipment Inspections and perform Routine Maintenance including Lubrication, Fueling and Cleaning.
- Monitor Equipment performance and report Mechanical issues promptly to Maintenance Team.
- Ensure compliance with Safety Standards and Site-Specific Operational Procedures.
- Coordinate with Supervisors and Team Members to optimize material flow and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate logs of Equipment usage, Material Movement, and Operational Incidents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Front-End Loaders or similar Heavy Equipment.
- Valid Operator’s Certification or License (as per local regulations)
- Strong understanding of Hydraulic Systems, Load Capacities, and Terrain navigation
- Familiarity with bulk material logistics
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor environments
